I've been told that I have a lot of spunk! I tend to learn quickly and know Sit, Down, and Stay, and walk well on a leash. I've lived outside for most of my life and am overjoyed that people let me inside and sleep on comfy dog beds. Those things put me right to sleep... I get excited when people show me attention and love a nice head scratch or tummy rub. When I see my leash, my whole body becomes excited, I march in place with my front paws, and my tail swings in circles. I can't help it; it's so hard to sit when I know I get to go on a walk! My foster parents find it delightful.

I love to play with my fluffy toys. I will carry my new stuffed animal friend around the house with me, sleep with him, bring him outside and inside, and then a few days later I get bored of him and rip him to shreds. I love treats! any treats! and definitely chewy ones, like rawhides, yum.

I've been told that I have the Bull Dog smile, but I am just a happy dog. Oh ya, I am suppose to tell you that I have a cute run. I tend to kick up my hind legs and trot when running. My foster parents think its fun to make me run and show off how cute I am. I don't see what the big deal is, but it makes everyone smile.

My favorite game with my canine friends is keep away. I'm not always good at sharing; though, I am good at watching other dogs and knowing when they have become distracted so I can steal their toy. The beagles that I lived with thought it was fun and would chase me and try and get the toy back.

I currently live on a block with a lot of children. They love to come up and pet me, and I simply soak up the attention. My fosters are very comfortable with me being with other people. They may have to watch me giving too many kisses though... I think it's nice to thank others for petting me.

I grew up living with another dog and live with two beagles. One is a puppy and she is always in my face and trying to get me to play with her. I have to say that I tolerate her pretty well and we enjoy chasing each other.

In case youre wondering, I do ask to go out when I gotta go.

My foster family knows me pretty well and they think the perfect family for me would be one that has a yard, allows dogs indoors, and is willing to spend plenty of time with me.

Please note that Pit Bull Rescue San Diego does not adopt on a first come first served basis. Generally we have formed an opinion about the sort of home that we want for each of the dogs in our program. This opinion is formed from knowing each dog and observing their interactions in various situations and through periodic evaluations. Our goal is to place our charges in the home that is the best possible for that particular dog. Our only goal is happiness and forever homes for our dogs. A forever home is most likely to happen when we do the best we can to find lifestyles and personalities that match.

We are aware that this is a human process and that you may or may not agree with our decisions. Please understand that we take very seriously the lives placed in our hands for this brief time and our decisions are only made out of protectiveness for the breed and the specific dogs we are placing and not out of any judgment of you or your life.
