Reason for giving up:I adopted Chance from the County Shelter. I found him running loose downtown and turned him in to the shelter. No one claimed him and his odds for adoption were very slim. He was very stressed at the shelter.

Hello! My name is Chance. My foster mom named me Chance since I'm getting a second chance in life. She found me running loose downtwon. I was really dirty and my neck was raw from my collar. No one claimed me at the county shelter, and I was really stressed at the shelter. So after having me neutered (for which I have forgiven her), she adopted me and is fostering me until the perfect forever home comes along.

I am a very good boy for only being one year old. I learn new things quickly and love my toys! I really like to play with men. I want to rough house with the guys, but am very gentle with my petite foster mom. I have met a few little children on our walks. I am so good. I sit quietly and get all soft while they pet me, but I haven't been off leash with them yet as my foster mom does not have children.

I only chew on my toys and am completely housebroken. I stay in my crate when mom is gone. I like long walks and am a great hiking companion. Oh, did I mention I like to cuddle? I will try to climb in your lap. I will want to soak up all the love I can get from you but I promise I will give you more than what I take from you in return.

My foster mom is really glad she took a "chance" on me and saved me from life in the shelter. I'm hoping someone else will take a chance on me and give me a great forever home!
