This dog wandered into the open pit mine that I work at. He was starving and it was only a matter of time before he was hurt in an explosion or run over by one of our pieces of heavy equipment. The vet thinks that while he was on his own, he was hit by a car, though he has no trouble running or sitting. He has clearly been abused by whoever had him before and is skittish around men he is meeting for the first time. He is super friendly and eager to please. He will be a loyal friend, he just needs a home with people who will love him.
